Driven by double spiral mechanism, the rollers on the grading bed move forward in parallel. The gaps between rollers gradually increase along the conveying direction. After materials are fed automatically by the elevator, fruits and vegetables travel on the rotating rollers. When the diameter of the fruit or vegetable matches the roller gap, it will fall onto the discharge conveyor belt below and be collected. Larger materials keep moving forward until they reach the corresponding larger gap and drop out. In this way, automatic grading by diameter is finished.

• Place the machine on flat, solid ground with good drainage, adjust support legs to keep the whole machine level.
• Complete power connection and reliable earthing according to electrical requirements, confirm voltage matches the machine specification.
• Install the feeding elevator and grading main unit, align all discharge conveyors correctly.
• Test run without materials first, check roller rotation direction, adjust speed via frequency converter.
• Set roller gaps to match your required grading sizes, test material dropping condition.
• Check emergency stop function and all safety protections before formal production.
• Train operators on basic operation and safety rules before starting mass sorting.

• Clean all rollers, conveyor belts and frames after each shift to remove fruit residues and dirt; the open structure allows easy washing.
• Check the chain tension regularly with the built-in tensioning mechanism, keep the chain properly tightened.
• Lubricate bearings and transmission parts periodically to reduce wear and noise.
• Inspect the control panel, emergency stop button and motor protective cover to ensure electrical safety.
• Check rollers for scratches or damage; replace stainless steel or PV rollers when worn.
• Keep the workshop dry as much as possible, check waterproof condition of the motor cover regularly.
• Do a full inspection before long-time shutdown, clean and store the machine properly.
