Recently, we shipped a mini meat strip cutting machine to a Canadian customer. The machine features a belt width of 300mm and is designed for efficient processing. The customer, who manufactures and sells pet treats, plans to use it to cut degreased pork skin—approximately 45-60cm in length and 25-32cm in width—into uniform strips. He requested that the machine cut the pork skin into 19mm wide strips before drying, to produce high-quality pet treats.

1. Strip Width

The customer, who manufactures and sells pet treats, requires the pork skin—measuring approximately 45-60cm in length and 25-32cm in width, with a thickness of 5mm—to be cut into strips that are 19mm wide. This size is ideal for pets to use as teething treats after drying.

To meet these specifications, we customized the blade assembly of the mini meat strip cutting machine. It features 16 blades, with each pair of blades spaced precisely 19mm apart, ensuring the strips meet the customer’s exact requirement.

2. Blade Holder

The blade assembly of the mini meat strip cutting machine is equipped with a heavy-duty stainless steel outer shell. This durable enclosure not only protects the blades from potential damage during operation but also enhances the overall stability and safety of the machine. 4. Removing the Blade Holder

To maintain optimal performance and extend the lifespan of the blades, the blade holder should be removed and cleaned periodically.

The mini meat strip cutting machine is equipped with multiple handles on its side for easy operation. To remove the blade holder, first tighten the pentagonal handle located on the side of the machine body. Then, grasp the handle on the protective cover, gently lift it upward, and pull it outward to remove the cover. This exposes the blade assembly, allowing you to carefully detach the blade holder.

For reinstallation, align the blade holder with the track inside the machine, press it firmly into place, and then tighten the side handle to secure it. Regular cleaning and proper handling ensure consistent cutting performance and prolong the life of the blades.

5. Protective Cover

For operator safety, a protective cover has been installed over the blade assembly of the mini meat strip cutting machine. This cover effectively prevents accidental injuries by shielding the blades during operation. Additionally, it helps protect the cutting blades from external dust, debris, and other contaminants, ensuring cleaner and more hygienic cuts. The protective cover is designed to be easy to remove for maintenance and cleaning while providing reliable safety during regular use.

6. Water Inlet

The mini meat strip cutting machine features a water inlet on top of the protective cover. A water pipe is connected to the cutting area to spray water, aiding in smooth cutting and producing clean, distinct strips.

7. Waste Discharge Outlet

The mini meat strip cutting machine features a sloped receiving plate positioned beneath the blade assembly. This design facilitates easy discharge of waste and scraps, preventing accumulation and ensuring smooth operation. Additionally, the inclined plate allows for the prompt drainage of juices produced during cutting, maintaining a clean workspace. It also simplifies the removal of washing water during cleaning processes, promoting hygienic operation and easy maintenance. 8. Conveyor Belt

Since the customer’s raw material—pork skin—is relatively thin but large in size, using a conventional PE conveyor belt could lead to slippage during the cutting process. This would result in uneven and crooked strips, compromising product quality.

To address this, we provided a chain-plate conveyor belt tailored to the specific characteristics of the customer’s product. The chain-plate design effectively prevents slippage, ensuring that the pork skin remains securely in place during cutting. This results in straight, uniform strips with consistent width and quality, meeting the high standards required for pet treats.

9. Control Panel

The mini meat strip cutting machine is equipped with a user-friendly, intuitive control panel featuring clear English labels. It includes start and speed adjustment buttons for both the conveyor belt and the cutting mechanism, allowing for precise control during operation. Constructed from IP56 waterproof materials, the control panel is resistant to water ingress, ensuring reliable performance even during direct rinsing or cleaning.

A viewing window is integrated into the control panel, providing a clear view of the internal components, including the frequency converter and other electronic parts. This facilitates easy monitoring and troubleshooting without the need to disassemble the panel.

Additionally, the machine is designed with an emergency stop device positioned on the side for quick access. This ergonomic placement allows operators to stand upright while operating or stopping the machine, reducing fatigue and increasing safety. The emergency stop button is securely framed to prevent accidental activation during normal operation, ensuring safe and reliable use.

10. Casters
